PSSA - Pop School, Stage Academy, Drama Lessons and Kid's Dance School

So many youngsters dream of being the next 'pop idol'. At the Pop School we give them a chance to begin to achieve that dream. The Pop School is designed to give 12 to 18 year-olds professional pop music training and prepare any student who may want to pursue a career in the music industry. We offer full traning in the music industry and children's recording sessions.

Students learn all the skills that are essential to any singer and performer (all within a fully featured children's studio):

  • How to cut a vocal
  • Song Writing
  • Studio Technique
  • Movement and Performance skills
  • Microphone Techniques

The Pop School sessions are held in a professional live rehearsal room so students get a taste of what it's like to be a real recording artist.

The Pop School is split into two age groups: 12-15 years and 16-18 years, so students can work at an appropriate pace. Group numbers are also kept to a minimum to enable each student to get enough one-to-one tuition.

During the course of the term students work towards recording their own track. It gives them a goal to aim for and something to take away at the end of each year.

For the Pop School a termly fee of �300 is payable.

If you are also a member of the Stage Academy, you are eligible for a discount from the total.
