Miles Western- Award winning Actor and Singer

Miles was trained at Middlesex University.

Theatre roles include William Shakespeare in A Comedy Of Erics (New Vic Theatre, Newcastle),Victor in Swallow Your Pride (Princess Theatre,Torquay), Hanibal Lecter in Silence! The Musical (ATS Thetare), Bradley in When Midnight Strikes (Finborough Theatre), Tony Orford in Noel Cowards Star Quality (National Tour), Roy Perkins in Taste The Love (Jermyn St Theatre), Mr Fuzziwig/Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol (New Vic Theatre), Principal Singer and Compere in Discomania and Hold Tight It's 60's,70's and 80's Night(European Tour), Ian in Exclusive Yarns (New Wimbledon Theatre), LucyFur in Hot Stuff (Leicester Haymarket), Arnold in Torch Song Trilogy (Kings Head Theatre), Miss West Coast in Pageant (Vaudeville Theatre) for which he won an Olivier award for Best Artist in a Musical. Miss West Coast in Pageant (Second City, Chicago) for which he was nominated for a Jeff award as Best Actor in a Revue. Rupert Edgerton in Tallulah Darling (Bridewell Theatre), Hedwig u/s in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Broadway Theatre, Chicago), Jeffrey in When Pigs Fly (Arts Theatre), Steve in The Cradle Will Rock (BAC), Gad and the Butler in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (UK Tour), Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show (European/UK Tour), Stone in City of Angels (The Octagon), Tommy in The Normal Heart(KMT), The Narrator in Grimm Tales (Lyric, Hammersmith), Badger in The Wind in the Willows (Pavilion , Brighton), Paul in Les Enfants Terribles (Edinburgh Festival Theatre), Rodriguez in Breaking News (Kings Head Theatre).

Miles has also written and performed in his own solo cabaret Twig the Wonderkid (Jermyn St Theatre), Article 19 (Riverside Studios), Newsrevue (Canal Cafe Theatre) and The Lost Musicals (Barbican).

In pantomime Miles recently played Lady G in Cinderella(Oxford Playhouse), Abanazar in Aladdin (Wyllyotts Theatre,Potters Bar and also Oxford Playhouse), Nurse Hallowpenny in Sleeping Beauty (Lichfield Garrick Theatre) and Ugly Sister in Cinderella (Grand Opera House, Belfast and Alhambra Theatre, Bradford).

He has worked for the Walt Disney Company performing in many of their productions including Hades in the opening cast of Hercules in 1998 and was part of the Entertainment team that launched The Disney Magic in the same year.

TV and film credits include Laurent the Wigmaker in Joel Schumachers version of The Phantom of the Opera, Martin in Absolutely Fabulous, Harry Lebovitz in Doctors, PC Graham Hislop in Police Bravey Awards, Wally in GameinTV and Hobo in A Mothers Story. Appearances also include Frank Stubbs Promotes, Eastenders, Gideons Daughter and Mile High.

Miles is founder of the TalentBarn agency and also co-founded Big Hair Presents, which has been entertaining the public since 2007 and long may they continue!
