Nathan Potter

Nathan has been in involved in theatre from a very early age starting his training full time at 7yrs 

first at Patterson’s Academy Coventry and then Italia Conti London. 

Professional theatre credits include Monty in Monty and Mirabella (Waterloo East 2012); Cat in the 

Hat in Seussical (UK Tour); Dancer - Liberace Show (UK Tour); Sleeping Beauty (Devonshire Park 

Theatre,Eastbourne); Henric in A Little Night Music (Wimbledon Theatre); Kitten in Cats (UK Tour); 

Lilly in La Cage aux Folles (Birmingham Hippodrome and Birmingham  REP); The King And I 

(Alexander Theatre, Birmingham); Aladdin (Belgrade Theatre); Half A Sixpence (Coventry REP); 

Wizard Of Oz ( The Barbican, London and RSC Stratford). 

Amateur theatre credits include: Seymour in Little Shop Of Horrors (CTC), Dave in Closer To 

Heaven(CTC), Billy in Little Voice (CTC), Ozzy in On The Town (CTC) and The Baker in Into The 

Woods (CBTC). 

Nathan has backing danced for Geri Halliwell and Kyle Minogue. Film credits include Prospero’s 

Books Directed by Peter Greenway and The Magic Flute Directed by Kenneth Branagh. He was 

also lucky enough to reach the semi final of BBC TV’s Strictly Dance Fever hosted by Graham 


Nathan has performed in a number of review shows including Pink Paradiso (TOM, Brighton) and 

Lark In The Park (Congress Theatre, Eastbourne). He has danced corporately for BMW, Sony Play 

Station, Clothes Show Live and Jones Boot Makers. 

Nathan has choreographed professionally for OddPost Entertainment’s Haven shows-2012.  

Locally he has choreographed for Brighton Theatre Group The Full Monty-2008, My Fair Lady- 

2009, Disney’s Beauty And The Beast - 2010 and a revival ofThe Full Monty-2010 all at the 

Theatre Royal Brighton. For CIty Theatre Company Magic Of The Musicals-2008 and On The 

Town- 2009 and for Music Theatre 2000  The Broadway Concert-2010, Old Time Music Hall-2010 

and Musical Spectacular for Martlets Hospice at the Dome Brighton in 2011. 


In 2010 he choreographed the new musical Here Comes The Bride for Seaside Productions for 

The Brighton Fringe. Winning numerous awards and 5**** ratings. 

Nathan has also Directed/Choreographed Sweet Charity- 2012 at the Old Market and Calamity 

Jane-2011 at The Komedia both for City Theatre Company. Co-Directed and choreographed  the 

Victoria Wood musical Acorn Antiques-2011 for Music Theatre 2000. 

Nathan has his own theatre company Chocolate Box Theatre Co, he started in 2012 with two local 

professionals Emma Edwards and Simon Gray, staging the musical Into The Woods to sell out 

audiences at the Marlbourough Theatre,Brighton. 

Nathan is a qualified Tap and Modern teacher and has taught the length and breath of the south 

coast, spending the last 10 years as the dance teacher for Stagecoach Eastbourne.
