Ian kelsey graduated from Gulildford school of acting in 1992 and after a stint in Hollywood playing the older Jo Green in the 1993 film Black Beauty, he 'got lucky' landing a plumb role on ITV's Emmerdale, where he became recognisable as Dave Glover 'The Lover', or as Ian calls his character now, just plain Dead Dave. Ian got lucky again during this job acting alongside an actress playing the role of Frenchie, his now wife, Mia. Ian has also starred in BBC shows Casualty and Down to earth, Murder in Mind, Touching Evil, Men behaving badly, Hotel Babylon and for ITV, Where The Heart Is, and Manchester based police drama, Blue Murder. More recently Ian has been playing the role of Billy Flynn, in the West End musical Chicago and is currently playing Charlemaine in Fosse's 'Pippin' at The Menier Chocolate Factory, London.
