CJ Johnson

Training:

CJ trained at the Royal Academy of Music (winner of the Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award) having graduated from Winchester University with a First Class Hons degree in Drama, Theatre and Television.

Credits:

CJ has most recently appeared as Milady de Winter in "The Three Musketeers" – Rose Theatre, Kingston and prior to that she appeared as Anna in "Lend Me a Tenor–The Musical"–Theatre Royal, Plymouth, directed by Ian Talbot and soon to be coming to London"s West End. Other credits include "Piaf" for the Donmar–Vaudeville Theatre, directed by Jamie Lloyd (covering the roles of Marlene Dietrich and Toine); "Rent"–Duke of York Theatre (covering and playing Maureen⁄Joanne); Anna Leonowens in "The King and I"– International Tour; "Chess"– Oslo Spektrum, Norway; Andrew Lloyd Webber"s "The Woman in White"–Palace Theatre (covering the title role); "Jesus Christ Superstar"–English Theatre, Frankfurt (Joanna/Soul Girl); "Sinatra with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra UK"–National Tour inc. London Palladium/Kenwood House (Co–Star); "Zipp!"–Duchess Theatre (Leading Lady).

Television:

Television appearances include singing for the Queen"s Golden Jubilee (BBC); "Richard Rodgers Centenary Gala"–Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and with opera–band " Amici Forever". As a soloist, CJ has also travelled to Shanghai and Hong Kong to work for Cartier and the Venetian Macau. She also travels extensively with Incognito Artists. CJ has been involved in a number of studio recordings and can be heard in Polly Rae"s Hurly Burly Show in the West End. CJ also works as a vocal coach for various professional artists, including The Ultra Girls, who supported Kylie Minogue on her Aphrodite Les Folies tour and as a guest vocal coach on MTV.
